Named for the small falcon famous for hovering motionless in mid-air, Kestrel Villa is one of two loft-style retreats. Located at the rear of the property, it is the quietest and most private of them all.

Downstairs, the living space and bathroom sit beneath tall windows opening onto the garden. Upstairs, a comfortable king bed waits in a space entirely of its own — set above the rest of the villa, in the kind of stillness Kestrel is named for.

The lounge and dining area are made for lingering, and the kitchenette is fully stocked to suit: full-size fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, plus everything you need for a cook-your-own breakfast — eggs, bacon, bread for toasting, cereal, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee. The bathroom is a quiet retreat on its own, with a large walk-in shower and custom vanity.

Step outside onto Kestrel’s front verandah which joins with Rosella’s next door, to find a still, sunlit place for coffee at dawn or a slow drink at sunset.

Every villa comes with reverse-cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans and a wood-fired heater (April to October), free parking at your door, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
