Australia is home to more species of cockatoo than almost anywhere else on earth, from the sulphur-crested to the gang-gang — and Cockatoo Villa borrows a little of that easy, sociable character, to make it a guest favourite. 

Cockatoo is our fully accessible villa, with no steps throughout, parking right at the door, and a larger bathroom fitted with grab rails for ease and comfort. Large windows open onto the private garden, filling the villa with natural light. The comfortable king bed sits alongside a generous lounge and dining area, giving the whole villa an easy, open feel.

The kitchenette is fully stocked to suit: a full-size fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Wake to a kitchen already prepared for a proper cook-your-own breakfast — eggs, bacon, bread for toasting, cereal, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee.

Outside, a long verandah with its own outdoor setting is the perfect place for coffee and breakfast in the sun, or a slow drink as the light fades. It joins directly with Magpie’s verandah next door — which is why Cockatoo and Magpie are often booked together by families and groups wanting connected spaces.

Every villa comes with reverse-cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans and a wood-fired heater for the cooler months (April to October), free parking at your door, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout your stay.
